Dead Man’s Tide is an original online party game by Rucksy for 3 to 6 players. Every player is a pirate on their own phone, and a TV or laptop can show the ship. Short on friends? AI pirates fill the empty seats.
The ship builds itself as you board her: the Main Deck, the Rigging above and the Hold below, different every voyage. Take Plunder, hear the Tales the ship tells, and dig up Treasures that should have stayed buried. When the Mutiny breaks, one of 30 different endings begins, and one pirate may be the Mutineer.

Pry open every hatch on a ship that should have sunk long ago. Every deck you find joins a ship that is different every voyage.
Pass the Black Spot
Share a deck with a pirate you do not trust and hand them the Black Spot. Two Spots when the Mutiny breaks, and the crew maroons them.
Ride out the Mutiny
One Treasure too many and the ship turns on you. Articles are signed in secret, and one pirate may be the Mutineer.
What makes it different
The Black Spot
Once a game, before the Mutiny, you may hand one pirate in your room the Black Spot by tapping their seat. It costs nothing, and everyone sees the black dot it leaves.
When the Mutiny breaks, anyone holding two Spots from different pirates is marooned by the crew and loses a little Brawn and a little Spine. Nobody’s role is revealed. The Spots only show who the crew suspects, so the real Mutineer can be marooned, or can talk everyone into marooning an honest shipmate.

Questions
When can I play Dead Man’s Tide?
Dead Man’s Tide is not open to the public yet; it is coming soon to rucksy.fun. Candlewake, Rucksy’s haunted-house game, is free to play right now on the same site.
How many players, and do we need to be in the same room?
3 to 6 players. Everyone uses their own phone, so you can play together in one room or apart on a video call, and AI pirates fill any empty seats.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and laptops, and a TV or laptop can show the ship for everyone.
What is the Black Spot?
Once a game you can hand the Black Spot to a pirate in your room. Anyone holding two Spots from different pirates when the Mutiny breaks is marooned and weakened. It shows suspicion, not proof.
Is there a mutineer?
When the Mutiny breaks, some endings reveal a Mutineer working against the crew, some keep them hidden, and in others the whole crew sails together.
